In Hearthstone, the maniacs are once again on the hunt for new nonsense records. Instead of a turn that lasts 48 hours, they are now chasing new milestones.
The nonsense records in Hearthstone seem endless. We have already reported on the turn that lasted 43 hours. The developers are now starting with a very similar tactic: This time, however, they are not looking for the record for the longest turn, but are after the most forced card draws and the record for the highest damage totals. For this, they are relying on “Arcane Missiles” and have them hit “Acolyte of Pain”.
They buffed Prophet Velen with the “Velen’s Chosen” spell, causing the spell damage to rise extremely, then they cloned him with the faceless manipulator. On the other side, they repeatedly doubled the HP of an Acolyte of Pain until it reached nearly 800,000 health points. Then the priest protected himself with an ice block, and the “arcane missiles” were unleashed. Thanks to the buffed Prophet Velen, these now cause 2176 missiles, multiplied by 9, and the players hit these insane numbers. The Acolyte of Pain ensures that his owner may draw a card for every damage taken on the minion.
For anyone thinking: 2176 missiles only? Surely that could have been pushed even higher! They refrained from buffing Velen further because Hearthstone simply gives up at 2500 missiles per spell.
