Last night, a small image was published on the official Twitter account of HearthStone that has since caused a stir. The typical main menu of the card game is shown, but a new, fourth menu item is being activated. This has created a lot of material for speculation from Blizzard!

Of course, everyone immediately has their own idea of what could be hidden behind the new menu item. Looking at the previous items, it seems very likely that it will be a completely new game mode. Many players hope for the “2vs2” mode that was brought up a long time ago, however, the German HearthStone Facebook page clarified that there are currently “no plans for a Co-Op mode.”
This strengthens the suspicion that it is the long-awaited “Tournament Mode“. Players could hold tournaments with their friends and acquaintances without having to rely on detours such as website registrations and “proof screenshots”. Another possibility would be the introduction of achievements, which many players have also been wishing for a long time – however, using one of the “big” menu items for this seems somewhat far-fetched. Perhaps E3 will bring us certainty!
