Blizzard’s online card game Hearthstone will receive new heroes. The first is Magni Bronzebeard for the warrior.
It was actually clear since yesterday that Hearthstone would get a new “hero” for the warrior. Now it is also known how this will work: It will not be Muradin, but his brother Magni Bronzebeard, who can replace Garrosh Hellscream. It is basically “just” an alternative skin. The gameplay will not change.
Magni retains the same warrior hero ability as Hellscream (2 armor for 2 mana), but does so in Ironforge style with a hammer animation. His quotes are also new, all recorded with new voices and there is a card back as well.
Magni will not be earned, but must be purchased. For €8.99, Magni can be purchased in the Hearthstone store, and costs €9.99 on iOS. More heroes are likely to follow. Additionally, the interface will be adjusted, with some furniture being moved to make space for everything.
When the new heroes are set to launch, Blizzard is not revealing at the moment. It is likely to happen soon.
