What is it about? The official German Hearthstone Championship is organized, moderated, and held by our MAX team in cooperation with Blizzard.
The 64 best German players compete to secure the coveted title “German Champion 2018” and a prize pool of a total of 5,000 USD. In addition to the German Hearthstone elite, underdogs from the scene are expected to prove themselves against what is probably the strongest national participants’ field in the world.
On Max, you will get the full dose of Hearthstone over the weekend!
What is MAX? “MAX” stands for Monsters & Explosions and is a joint project of our new LiveStreaming channel from GameStar, GamePro, IGN/Nerdkultur, and Mein-MMO.
Where will it be streamed? The whole thing is hosted by C4mlann and Thanh, the two biggest Hearthstone streamers in Germany. You can find the stream on C4mlann’s Twitch Channel, as well as our MAX YouTube channel.

In our studio in Munich, the two biggest German Hearthstone streamers will be our guests. Who are the two?
Daniel “C4mlann” Märkerisch: The largest German-speaking Hearthstone streamer C4mlann competed for the German national team in Hearthstone in 2017 and was able to reach prize money ranks in various internationally renowned tournaments. His extensive Hearthstone knowledge and long-standing insights into the professional scene of the game make him a favorite among the audience along with his calm demeanor. As the official German Blizzard caster, the former lecturer holds the exclusive broadcasting rights in German for all mentioned events.
Thanh “iamThanh” Tran: His easy-going nature combined with his tireless effort in front of the camera has made Thanh, who has been a full-time streamer since July 2016, the second biggest Hearthstone streamer in Germany. He has already participated as a professional player in various international Hearthstone events. His greatest success so far was reaching first place in the European rankings. As a fixed commentary duo, IamThanh and C4mlann have already commented on numerous official Hearthstone tournaments.
