The first real expansion for the online collectible card game Hearthstone, Heroes of Warcraft has been released this week. Contrary to some rumors in advance, it does not focus on the Burning Legion, but instead places the eternal conflict between Gnomes and Goblins in the spotlight. Players can therefore expect a plethora of failed experiments.
But what does this shift from Blizzard mean for the e-sport aspirations of the game? With the new cards, the games will depend much more on chance than they have before.
