In Un’Goro, there is the most powerful Murloc from Hearthstone. Megafin knows no mercy – but there’s plenty of gurgling.
The next expansion “Journey to Un’goro” is rapidly approaching all Hearthstone fans. Blizzard is releasing more and more new cards through streamers and fan sites so that everyone can prepare for the new minions and spells before the launch.
Today’s highlight is the quest for Shamans Unite the Murlocs. Like all quests, it begins in the opening hand. The task is to summon a total of 10 Murlocs for a reward that is worth it. The giant Murloc Megafin not only has stats of 8/8 for 5 mana but also a Battlecry that brings tears to the eyes of any friend of the gurgling beings: “Fill your hand with random Murlocs.”
This card addresses one of the biggest problems of Murloc decks, namely that eventually you simply have no cards left in hand when the first rush fails.
Another Murloc is the Primalfin Lookout for 3 mana with stats of 3/2 and the Battlecry: If you already control a Murloc, discover a Murloc. The world can never have enough Murlocs.
Another legendary card for Shamans was revealed, which deals more with Elementals. Kalimos, Primal Lord costs 8 mana for 7/7 and has a powerful Battlecry: If you played an Elemental last turn, cast an Elemental Invocation. The player then has the free choice of 4 different effects:
- Wind – Deals 3 damage to all enemy minions.
- Earth – Fills your side of the board with 1/1 Elementals.
- Water – Restores 12 health to your hero.
- Fire – Deals 6 damage to the enemy hero.
Finally, a rare neutral minion was introduced, the Tol’vir Stoneshaper. With 3/5 for 4 mana, he is relatively solid, but it’s his Battlecry that makes him really strong: If you played an Elemental last turn, this minion gains Taunt and Divine Shield.
What do you think of these cards? A toast to the new Murloc Shaman? Or will this already be the new terror of sleepless nights? Grlgrlgrlgrl?
