Blizzard is facing issues with Hearthstone. The new expansion “The Grand Tournament” is causing a massive surge.
It all started at 7:00 PM, since then most players can’t get much done: The new expansion The Grand Tournament has launched. The queue you see when logging into Hearthstone leads to a staircase into nothingness. In the end, you fall down and have to try again.
At Blizzard, they are of course aware of the problems, stating: There is a huge influx. We are working to resolve issues like login difficulties and in-game latency. It seems like patience is required until you can unpack the packages and start playing.

Update: As Blizzard reports, there will be a maintenance from 10:10 PM for approximately one hour. They apologize for the inconvenience.
