Because Blizzard does not create the right cards for the Rogue in Hearthstone, a disappointed fan is taking over.
Although the last expansion “Gadgetzan Streets” shook up the Hearthstone meta quite nicely, not everyone is satisfied with the new cards. Although Rogues have a fairly solid repertoire of abilities, some Rogue players are upset because Blizzard did not give this class a new weapon. Actually, Blizzard wanted to focus on weapons to particularly distinguish the Rogue from the Shaman.
The player Max has now set himself a goal to get Blizzard to develop new cards: day by day, he is creating his own weapon card for the Rogue. So far, over 28 cards have appeared, and Max shows no signs of stopping anytime soon. Among his suggestions are some good ones, but also a few overpowered cards. Most of his ideas, however, are one thing: quite creative.
For example, he has created the powerful Rogue spell Lethal Conspiracy, which is quite expensive at 10 mana but also brings with it a powerful effect: “Equip a 3/4 weapon and summon two 3/2 Assassins. Combo: Destroy all undamaged enemy minions.”
A fitting card for the current set would also be the Gadgetzan Arms Dealer, who could discover a weapon with his Battlecry – from any class in the game.
However, Max does not live under the illusion that Blizzard will soon comply with his demands. He simply hopes for the best.
“I believe I can keep this up for a very long time. I know the design process of Hearthstone and know that they are already testing the next two expansions. They have already created all the cards and set the course. But who knows what it will bring?”
Currently, Warriors are on the winning side – with the best card for only 1 mana.
