To ensure that there is no boredom in Hearthstone between two major releases, the developers transitioned to releasing small “mini-sets” some time ago. This is exactly what is happening today with the Caverns of Wailing, a new expansion featuring 35 fresh cards.
Blizzard has already released all the cards in advance, so you can start planning now. It’s best to think about which of the cards you will include in your favorite deck in the future – and which cards you should be cautious of.

Additionally, there are a number of “adventurer” cards. These cannot be collected but are generated during the game by other cards. In total, there are 8 variations:
What do the cards cost? The 35 new cards (with duplicates, so 66 cards) can be purchased for 2,000 gold pieces. Those who prefer to combat the issue with real money can instead pay €14.99 to unlock the mini-set completely.
When will the cards be available? Starting today. The “Caverns of Wailing” will be released today, June 3rd, 2021. Usually, this happens in the early evening between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM worldwide simultaneously. If you are in the game during activation, you will be prompted to restart.
What are players saying? The new set is being discussed in the Hearthstone subreddit and the official forum. Opinions are mixed, but there is considerable concern in many cases about the new cards. The fear is that the new Paladin cards will further solidify the dominance of Paladins, while other classes may be left a bit short. However, some players also note that the other classes now have at least a few counter options thanks to the addition of some new cards.
