The latest wing of the Explorer League brings new cards for Hearthstone – Murloc fans can rejoice!

After the Explorer League expansion of Hearthstone took a break last week due to Thanksgiving, it returns this week. Tonight, on the night of 03.12.2015, the 3rd wing “The Fallen City” opens. This provides exciting boss battles and new fodder for deck builders, we give you a quick overview of the newcomers.
The Army of Murlocs
A total of 4 out of 10 cards are Murlocs or interact with them, which is not surprising considering that Sir Finley Mrrgglton accompanies players through this part of the adventure. For only 1 mana, he lets you discover a new hero ability – this could allow shamans to forsake their totems or priests to reach for the fireball. The “Mini Fin” is the counterpart to the Murloc, but interacts well with other Murloc cards.
One of these cards is Return of the Valued Ones (“Anyfin can Happen”), a Paladin spell for a hefty 10 mana, summoning up to 7 Murlocs that have already died in this game! The last Murloc card is Famous Fin Buddies (“Everyfin is Awesome”,) a shaman spell that grants all friendly minions +2/+2 and becomes cheaper the more Murlocs you control.
Vicious Snakes and Other Creatures
Rogues get the “Pit Snake” as a new card for only 1 mana, which so far most pros have rated as quite useless. The “Giant Toad” fits wonderfully into many Druid and Hunter decks, and with its death rattles, it will surely take down at least one opponent on its way down. The “Gorillabot A-3” expands the list of existing mechs and uses the new keyword “Discover” to bring another mech into your hand.
The “Sea Witch of the Naga” stands at 5, as she not only has 5/5, but also changes the costs of all your other cards to 5. Druids will snag the “Jungle Moonkin”, a double-edged sword, as it increases the spell damage of both players by 2. Lastly, Hunters receive the new trap “Dart Trap”, which is triggered when the enemy uses their hero ability. It then deals a solid 5 damage to a random opponent.
With the opening of this wing, the new cards are also active in the Arena and can appear, as usual, when crafting your deck.
