Only a few weeks after the release of Hearthstone, the next announcement about Blizzard’s free card game follows directly: the first adventure!

The expansion “Curse of Naxxramas” will thematically be heavily based on the well-known raid instance from World of Warcraft. The opponents will be none other than the well-known bosses from the MMORPG template, so you will face Heigan, Maexxna, and Loatheb and teach them a lesson in the card game.
The solo adventure will be divided into five wings (just like the original) and a new wing will be unlocked each week, allowing players to have cleaned Naxxramas from its undead inhabitants after a month.
Even though no release date has been announced yet, you should start saving gold now – because only the first wing is free, all further wings can be unlocked either with in-game currency or real money, and the price for that has not been announced yet.
In total, there will be 30 new cards that you can add to your collection by defeating all bosses and completing specific class challenges, at least 5 of which will be legendary – one per wing.
Last but not least, there will be a thematically appropriate, new game board whether this will only be available during solo play or also in the card battle against other players has not yet been revealed.
