In today’s card chaos, there is the first cooperative game mode of Hearthstone – a sign of future content?
Mechazod wants to know now
After the card chaos caused moderate server issues last week, this week (November 4th) there is the first real cooperative mode in Hearthstone.
Starting at 5 PM, Mechazod will face two players who must cooperate to defeat the little tin can with its proud 95 health points. Since there will only be pre-made decks available, one probably should not expect an easy victory through “Shadow Word: Pain” or similar.
However, it will be possible to heal the allied teammate through abilities and spells – as it has often been the case otherwise, just this time with purpose. This is also bitterly necessary, as if one of you dies, then the match is considered failed.
Anyone wondering how Blizzard solved this with the interface will either be disappointed by the lack of innovations or admire how simple the solution has become. The two players are, as usual, positioned opposite each other on the game board, and Mechazod switches sides with each turn. So he will sometimes be on your teammate’s side and then on yours.
The game mode right before BlizzCon at least gives hope that a new adventure will soon be available, which can be played with multiple players – as raids were also present in the classic Trading Card Game of WoW and were very popular among players.
