If you now choose a champion in Hearthstone , you can grab a lot of free packs.
This year, the annual Hearthstone World Championship will again take place at BlizzCon. To involve all other players in this event, there is now a new bonus. Each player can choose one of the finalists as their “Champion”. But be careful! The choice can only be made once and is final until the end of the tournament. What does it bring? Packs from the “The Grand Tournament” expansion.
You can earn card packs for the following actions:
- Selecting a champion grants a pack from “The Grand Tournament”.
- Every time the champion wins a match, another pack from “The Grand Tournament” is awarded.
However, please note that the packs will not be credited to your account immediately, but may arrive with some delay.
Anyone who wants to select their champion can do so on the official Hearthstone website. There are two selection phases, once between October 20 and 25, and again between October 31 and November 3.
Cortyn says: Even if you don’t follow the games, this is a great way to grab some free card packs. Honestly, the Hearthstone World Championship has never really affected me. Now at least I have an incentive to check the results occasionally.
