The newest mini-set for Hearthstone goes live today and is likely to shake up the meta significantly. We will tell you which cards you can look forward to.
What could be more fitting for Valentine’s Day than moaning undead and shuffling zombies? Blizzard must have thought something similar, as tonight on February 14th, the new mini-set “Return to Naxxramas” in Hearthstone launches.
It complements the current expansion “March of the Lich King” with 38 new cards. There are even some new features, as all cards can also be fully purchased for in-game gold in their golden variant – if you have a hefty cushion.

As usual, the 38 cards are spread across all available classes, as well as a handful of neutral cards. Each class thus enjoys 3 cards, which you can encounter from today in standard mode.

As is usual with Hearthstone, the expansion typically goes live between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM. So start thinking about which of these cards you want to include in your decks.
What do the cards cost? As usual for the “mini-set”, the new cards are relatively easy to obtain. You have several options to secure the cards:
- The regular version of the mini-set can be purchased for 2,000 gold or 1,500 runestones (equivalent to 15 €).
- The complete golden version of the set can be purchased for 10,000 gold or 70 €.
In total, the set consists of 72 cards, with each legendary card appearing once and all other cards twice.
