When a game achieves such great success as Blizzard’s card game Hearthstone has, it’s not surprising that numerous parodies and fan works start to appear. Some time ago we had Hearthstone with Pokémon cards, and now a video is taking a similar direction – yet somehow entirely different.
The YouTube channel Roflstone has taken on the task and created a “Mobile Version” of Hearthstone – as it would have likely looked more than 10 years ago on the GameBoy Color. Clunky menus, wonderful tunes as music, and numerous funny references included.
Anyone who secretly played the first Pokémon games under the blanket at night will feel right at home …
