A new Hearthstone expansion goes live. We show you all 145 new cards from “Showdown in the Badlands” in detail.

With the last expansion of 2023, Hearthstone wants to prove itself once again. “Showdown in the Badlands” brings new keywords and a lot of exciting cards that will likely remain in the game’s meta for a long time. Today, on November 14, 2023, the expansion will go live in the early evening.

What’s new? In addition to the sheer number of new cards, there is also a new keyword, namely “Excavate”. This allows players to dig up treasures that become more powerful each time – those who dig often will have very strong cards in their hand quickly. Additionally, there are a number of cards that make the so-called “Highlander” decks attractive again – you are not allowed to have duplicates to benefit from the advantages.

However, please note that some of the cards in the English version have somewhat curious texts, which will most likely be corrected later. We have already reported on the poor translation of the new cards here.
