Rogues have once again become the greatest threat in Hearthstone . If played correctly, they can hardly be stopped right now.
A few days ago, Blizzard released the patch “Revenge of the Mechs” in Hearthstone, which brought a total of 18 buffs to class cards. While many buffs were rather minor and had little impact, the Rogue stands out in particular. Its buff was so powerful that the “Pogo Rogue” can effortlessly dominate almost every matchup. The culprit is the Robohopser, an initially very weak minion with huge potential.
What is the Robohopser? The Robohopser is a 1/1 minion for 1 mana and is also a mech. However, it has the battle cry: It gains +2/+2 for each other Robohopser you have played in this game.
The trick is to get as many copies of the Robohopser into the deck as possible or to repeatedly return existing Robohopsers back to hand. This way, the little Robohopser can quickly become a significant threat of 13/13, 15/15, or even higher – and for only 1 mana.
YouTuber shows the potential: The well-known YouTuber Disguised Toast simply grabbed a Robohopser deck and played a few rounds to demonstrate the superiority of this deck. Although he is mercilessly behind in many matches at the beginning, he manages to make a quick comeback every time. The Robohopser becomes so strong that it can hardly be removed.
Which cards are involved? For the combo with the Robohopser to work, a few more cards are naturally needed. Helpful are, for example, the Spirit of the Shark, which doubles battle cries (thus making the strength of the Robohopsers even greater), as well as Togwaggle’s Scheme to bring the Robohopser into the deck multiple times. With the Nymph of the Witching Woods, the Robohopser can be specifically drawn from the deck, and Barista Mill can duplicate all these effects again.
How to play it yourself: If you want to try out a deck with the Robohopser yourself, just use the following deck code. Copy it and paste it into Hearthstone, and the game will automatically assemble the corresponding deck for you:

What do you think of this change to the Rogue? Has the deck gone out of control, and should Blizzard make some adjustments? Or is this all as it should be?
