Seven of the new Hearthstone cards from “One Night in Karazhan” have already been revealed. Check them out in this post!
“The Menagerie is Only for Guests” – The Curator Appears!
The next Hearthstone expansion will be released in just under 2 weeks. With the addon “One Night in Karazhan”, Blizzard is bringing some life back to the halls of the last guardian of Azeroth. The new expansion will feature a total of 45 cards spread over 4 wings, and Blizzard has already released the first 7.
Druids will have the Enchanted Raven, which, while lacking special card text, has quite strong base stats. For just 1 mana, it is a beast with powerful 2/2.
Rogues rely on the Ethereal Peddler, who is well-positioned with a mana cost of 5 and stats of 5/6. His battlecry ensures that all cards in your hand from other classes are reduced in cost by 2.
For Mages, a new spell that packs quite a punch is in store. For 7 mana, Firelands Portal deals 5 damage and simultaneously summons a random minion that costs 5 mana.
Paladins are once again utilizing the “Discover” mechanic. The Ivory Knight has only 4/4 stats for 6 mana, but a powerful battlecry. The player discovers a spell (3 are offered) and the Paladin gains health equal to the cost of the spell.
Because Hunters do not have enough strong beasts yet, they are getting the Kindly Grandmother. For 2 mana, this beast has stats of 1/1, but with a deathrattle that summons a 3/2 “Big Bad Wolf”.
As a legendary card, the Curator makes an entry. The popular boss from Karazhan is fulfilling his role and also shows in Hearthstone what the gallery has to offer. For 7 mana, The Curator is a 4/6 mech with taunt. As a battlecry, he allows his owner to draw a beast, a dragon, and a murloc from the deck.
The second revealed legendary is Barnes. The announcer from Karazhan’s theater department costs 4 mana and has stats of 3/4. As a battlecry, he summons a random 1/1 copy of a minion from your deck. Who is excited for “Mini-Ragnaros”?
In the coming days, the remaining cards of the new expansion will certainly be revealed as well. We will keep you updated as fresh info comes in.
