This Hearthstone record is unlikely to be broken anytime soon. The player Disguised Toast has accumulated over 20,000 armor in a match.
The latest expansion of Hearthstone, Rastakhan’s Rumble, has been live for a few days now. While many players are still trying to form a new meta and get used to the fresh cards, streamer and YouTuber Disguised Toast has implemented other plans. A crazy combination of cards provides him with seemingly infinite armor points.
Who is Disguised Toast? YouTuber Jeremy Wang is better known as “Disguised Toast” and became quite famous with Hearthstone. He is considered not only a good player but also a “mastermind” when it comes to discovering new card combinations. Time and again, he finds brilliant ways to end a game spectacularly or achieve seemingly impossible outcomes.
The Shudderwock is to blame again: The focus of his latest video is a Shaman deck with Shudderwock. This card imitates all battle cries that have already been played in random order. In combination with some new cards that grant armor each time, he creates an endless combination that brings him several hundred armor points every turn.
Only the turn limit restricts him: The only limitation to this combo is the turn limit. After a certain number of turns, a game simply ends, resulting in a draw.
A match lasting several hours: During his first attempts, a match lasted more than three hours. This is because Hearthstone plays all animations in sequence, making a single turn very long.
As the number of animations increases with each round, it stretches out. You can see Disguised Toast doing yoga exercises or reading and analyzing from “Romeo and Juliet” in the meantime.
Ultimately, he managed to exceed a value of 20,000 armor by restarting the game. Players will take a while to get through that.
