For Blizzard’s free card game Hearthstone, seven more cards are now known. Among them are class cards for the Warrior, Warlock, and Druid.
Since we last time took a look at the expansion ‘Goblins vs Gnomes’, seven new cards have been revealed.
Warrior: Two new class cards have been introduced for the Warrior. The “Shieldmaiden” is a 5/5 drop for 6 mana; with a battle cry, it increases the Warrior’s armor by 5 points. The Screwjack Clunker is one of many mechs with a buff effect. It increases the stats of another mech by +2/+2 with a battle cry. It is a 2/5 minion for 4 mana.
Warlock: The Warlock receives a demon cannon class card with 3/5 stats for 4 mana. At the end of a turn, it deals two damage to a non-mech.
Druid: The Druid receives a 2-mana minion class card with stats of 2/2. It has taunt and can choose whether it prefers to be 3/2 or 2/3.
Shaman: The Shaman receives a somewhat sneaky gimmick card, a spell for 4 mana. Both the Shaman and the opponent will randomly select a minion from their hand to bring to the dirt.
Neutral cards: Jeeves, a 4 mana minion with stats of 1/4, allows both opponents to draw cards until they have 3 in hand at the end of each round. Certainly an interesting tactical option. Much more brutal, however, is the Foe Reaper 4000. A massive 6/9 entity for 8 mana that not only deals damage to a target but also to surrounding minions.
