The Crowd Favorite and Other Hate Cards
The Druid of the Saber fits seamlessly into the Druid cards that require a choice. For 2 mana, it has rather weak stats of 2/1, but the text states: “Choose one: Charge or +1/+1 and Stealth“, which can make it quite a versatile card in the early turns of the game.
The Crowd Favorite can be considered “okay” with 4/4 for 4 mana, but it benefits greatly from the Battlecries of other cards. Whenever you play a card with Battlecry, this minion gains +1/+1. So, anyone crowding the board with small minions can quickly turn the Crowd Favorite into a tough opponent.
A new Warrior spell card is Bash and it doesn’t need much explanation. For 3 mana, it deals 3 damage and grants the warrior 3 armor. Especially Control Warriors could benefit from this, as they had to rely on the “Fiery War Axe” to remove minions with 3 health from the board.
The Brave Archer is a new Hunter card and is already at the top of my hate list. As if being a 2/1 for 1 mana wasn’t annoying enough, her text also says: “Inspiration: If your hand is empty, deal 2 damage to the opposing hero.” Some rush decks, which focus solely on the bland dropping of cards, will certainly appreciate this.
An epic card is the Master of Ceremonies, which could please decks with spell damage. With 4/2 for 3 mana, she is within an acceptable range, but really shines when her Battlecry activates, which states: If you have a minion with spell damage, gain +2/+2. Hardly anyone will be able to resist a 6/4 elf for just 3 mana!
