For Blizzard’s card game Hearthstone, an adventure called “Blackrock” has been confirmed as an expansion. Now, two more cards are known.
Little by little, Blizzard is giving a glimpse of the new cards of the Blackrock adventure. If it goes like last time, it will trickle out first, before all barriers give way and half of all available cards are revealed in one day. At the moment, it is still trickling. Blackrock will bring two cards per class and some neutral cards. This time, there is one neutral and one mage class card.
The neutral minion “Blackwing Corruptor” has 5/4 stats for 5 mana (so it would be an expensive Yeti). If you hold a dragon in your hand when you play it, it triggers 3 damage with its battle cry. This fits Blizzard’s design idea that the usually powerful dragons, which cost a lot of mana and come in late in the game, already influence the match even if they haven’t been played yet.
The mage spell “Dragon’s Breath” is a 5-mana spell that deals 4 damage and becomes one point cheaper for each minion that died this round. So it could be really useful for combos.
