The Twitch streamer “supcaitlin” hosted a joint stream with her mod “Dilly”. However, her behavior towards her guest is perceived by many as mean and outright bullying. Dilly herself, however, states that they are actually good friends.
What was the situation like? The streamer “supcaitlin” appeared in a stream on January 6, 2024, with a moderator of her Twitch chat, Dyllan “Dilly”. Apparently, she had invited him to spend a few days with her.
However, many viewers found the nearly one-and-a-half-hour stream uncomfortable, to say the least. Because supcaitlin spent the time making fun of her guest.
The “climax” is probably reached when there is a kiss between Dilly and supcaitlin. The streamer had previously set the kiss as a “Donation Goal” – a task fulfilled at a certain amount of donations. When the time came, the streamer could only muster the courage to fulfill her promise after several attempts and with the help of alcohol.
After a brief touch of the lips, supcaitlin screamed and jumped up, disappearing for a while – apparently to wash her mouth, while Dilly is left alone in the stream.
The associated clip went viral and gathered more than 225,000 views. That’s a lot for a streamer with an average of 2,500 viewers (via TwitchTracker). However, the reactions apparently did not turn out as the streamer had envisioned.

How was this discussed? For many viewers, the case seems clear-cut: In comments on Reddit or YouTube, they suspect that Dilly has feelings for the streamer, while she treats him poorly and exploits him for content.
The content creator and highest moral authority of Twitch, Charles “Cr1tiKaL” White, published an extensive video in which he describes supcaitlin’s behavior as “unnecessarily mean” and downright “heartbreakingly malicious”.
For the YouTuber, the streamer’s comments are no jokes, but simply insults. It’s not playful banter among friends; there is a lack of reciprocity, according to Cr1tiKaL. Particularly criticized is the fact that supcaitlin hosted the stream herself and set the kiss as a goal, only to then pretend that everything was a burden.

How did the conversation go? In the call with Cr1tiKaL, Dilly insisted that he is good friends with supcaitlin, and the two have more of a sibling relationship. He separates the private relationship from the streamer’s online appearance, according to the mod. You can find the entire conversation on YouTube.
In another stream with supcaitlin, Dilly also explained: “Cait has been a great friend to me since I’ve been here, we’ve had fun every night. […] When we tease or make jokes about each other, I don’t take it to heart.”
However, with his explanations, the mod was unable to genuinely convince either Cr1tiKaL or the viewers. The content creator stated it is sad that Dilly puts himself in such a position as the “nice guy”. Fans believe the streamer has brainwashed her mod.
However, everyone seems to agree that no one deserves such treatment. Even if supcaitlin is completely different off-camera, the logic goes, her behavior in the stream still shows a lack of respect for Dilly as a person.

What does the streamer say? Supcaitlin herself stated in her own stream that she acts completely differently in front of the camera than in real life. It’s just a Twitch stream, just entertainment, and not real. She accuses Cr1tiKaL of exploiting Dilly for his own content.
