In the past, Turner “Tfue” Tenney was a star on Twitch and was considered an old Aim God. Now he is causing outrage as he was live streaming hunting wild boars – and did not make a good impression at all.
Who is this about? Turner “Tfue” Tenney was once a big name on Twitch, gaining immense popularity in 2018 with the hype around Fortnite. The following year, he became the most-watched content creator on the streaming platform and was considered the best Fortnite player in the world.
In June 2023, Tfue announced in an emotional video that he wanted to retire from the content world. However, by autumn the now 26-year-old made a big comeback – on the controversial competing platform Kick.
There, Tfue is now making headlines with a stream in which he hunts wild boars live. Many viewers are shocked and say that the streamer is causing unnecessary suffering to the animals.
Tfue was once known for being really good at Fortnite.
Former Twitch Star Hunts Wild Boars from Moving Car
What kind of stream was that? On May 28, Tfue went wild boar hunting in the Everglades. He streamed the entire thing live on Kick. Some of the footage quickly spread on social networks, but many users were shocked by the treatment of the animals.
Clips show Tfue hunting from a moving car and injuring a wild boar. The animal whimpers in pain and tries to flee before the streamer catches up to it and eventually kills it.
Streamer Believes He is Doing a Favor for Residents
Tfue believes he is in the right. On X, he explained that wild boars are considered invasive in Florida and cause a lot of damage by uprooting the ground, damaging crops, disrupting the local ecosystem, and spreading diseases.

However, viewers criticize the streamer’s actions. The weapon is deemed unsuitable, he is using the wrong caliber, and presumably is not hitting the wild boars properly. This causes unnecessary suffering to the animals.
The R6 pro LaXing wrote on X that as someone who hunts himself and comes from a family of hunters, he finds it sickening – regardless of whether the animal is invasive. Tfue makes the animal suffer by shooting it several times until it finally dies. Streaming that is “wild”.
Viewers are Outraged
The videos are even spreading in the German-speaking area. While Tfue has received some support from US viewers, as the animals are considered invasive and harmful there, the negative reactions far outweigh the positive ones here.
The influencer commentator Bilal_2k shared Tfue’s clip on May 29 and received nearly 700 comments, with users mostly expressing shock. The consensus: This is not hunting, but simply animal cruelty.
In the German-speaking subreddit r/Laesterschwestern, the clip has also spread. Here, one user writes that he is a hunter himself and such actions would be illegal in Germany – the clip shows why.
The videos are easily found on X and Reddit, but we have deliberately chosen not to link to them here and recommend that you only watch the clip if you can handle seeing suffering animals.
Viewers, especially those who remember Tfue from his Fortnite glory days, are likely disappointed to see the streamer like this now. Bilal_2k writes, “Why does every influencer have to turn negative when things aren’t going so well anymore?”
