A player fights his way to level 100 in Diablo 4 and shares with the community what has negatively impacted him. He says he can now understand why everyone is so negative. But what bothers him?
What’s going on with Diablo 4? Since July, season 1 has been running in Diablo 4 and should once again bring some fresh air to the game shortly after the release. However, negative feedback from the community has been piling up lately. Many are dissatisfied, especially when it comes to the endgame.
A player who initially could not understand the negative mood is now joining in.
What is his problem with Diablo 4?
This is what he says: On Reddit, user Fleonar wrote a post titled “I get it now”. His post has already gathered more than 1,500 upvotes and over 500 comments. He writes:
I took longer to realize it, but now it is clear to me.
After level 50, everything other than nightmare dungeons is a waste of time. I kept running nightmare dungeon after nightmare dungeon. At level 85, I’m at the point where my gear has the best stats, but some items either have a low item level (low armor) or the best stat is poorly rolled. And after spending about 60 million gold on the enchanter to get 3% more attack speed, 70 more armor, and the exchange of damage for bleed and damage for melee, I have now realized that this is all the game has to offer until level 100 (and managing the stash that is always full), and after level 100 it doesn’t even make sense to do all this anymore.
I wondered why people were so negative, but I just had to spend more time with the game to realize that.
PS: Damn enchanting costs
Some players complain about the endgame content of Diablo 4. In the comments, it is pointed out, partly sarcastically, that helltides and legions would bring a lot of fun.
In the comments, FluffyPancakeLover writes: ‘I only played for fun. I’m not trying to grind. One day I realized: ‘Crap, I’m level 82.’ Just like others here, I find many of Blizzard’s decisions frustrating and disappointing, but I’m mostly happy to tinker with my eternal characters. I refuse to play S1.’
Others hope that Diablo 4 will improve with the new season and that Blizzard will listen to the complaints from the community.
