The Twitch streamer HandOfBlood is a fixed size in the German gaming scene. But according to his friend Kalle Koschinsky, there is a whole different side behind the successful content creator – that of an “old man”.
Who is HandOfBlood? Maximilian Knabe, better known as “HandOfBlood” or short Hänno, is an outstanding personality in the German gaming scene. At 32 years old, he has built a considerable fan base on platforms like YouTube and Twitch through his authentic and humorous style.
Who is Kalle? Kalle Koschinsky is also a well-known content creator and musician. With over 600,000 subscribers on YouTube and more than 200,000 followers on Twitch, Kalle has built a loyal community. On average, nearly 600 viewers gather in his live streams (via Twitchtracker).

The oldest young man in the German gaming scene
How are the two related? HandOfBlood and Kalle often stream together and are regularly present at events. Their friendship extends beyond work and joint projects to their private lives, where they also interact humorously.
In one of his recent streams, Kalle shares details about Hänno that make his fans smile. With the words “He is the oldest and most German German I know, and that in a pensioner sense,” Kalle leads into a humorous tale about his friend’s quirks.
“Max is the epitome of law and order”
What does Kalle mean by that? Kalle gives several examples to explain why he jokingly calls Hänno an “old man.” On the one hand, he notices his gait, which strongly reminds him of someone in retirement age. After all, Hänno is only 32 years old. “He walks like he’s 60. [….] He is such an old man,” Kalle adds laughing.
But that’s not all: Kalle goes on to say that HandOfBlood is particularly meticulous when it comes to ordering food. If the food arrives late, Hänno reacts extremely annoyed, according to Kalle. “Then he wants to report it almost. It’s sometimes exhausting. Max is the epitome of law and order,” Kalle adds.
Another example of Hänno’s “retiree charm” is provided by Kalle, as he recounts Hänno’s love for order. Kalle describes that Hänno always makes sure that drinks are only placed on coasters. “Then he gives you a drink, and even before you set the glass on the table, somehow a coaster flies in between, because he practically shoves it in like a frisbee under the glass,” Kalle shares amused.
Not everyone sees Hänno as the ‘oldest young man’
How does the community see it? The comments under a TikTok clip show, however, that not everyone agrees with Kalle. Some viewers believe that the title of “oldest young man” has already been awarded.
User “darkseth0” writes: “No, the title of the oldest 30-year-old goes to Philipp Amthor. Undisputed.” Also, “Liam Racoon” comments: “Not even Hänno can replace Philipp Amthor as Germany’s youngest old man.”
It seems, then, that Hänno has strong competition for this unofficial title.
HandOfBlood is not deterred by these comments and defends his unofficial title as “oldest young man.” Some time ago, he surprised his viewers with a full load of nostalgia: he streamed a classic from Spellbound from 2002 – all on a device with Windows 98.
