On the test server of The Lord of the Rings Online, there is currently a new PvP map to try out. After almost 8 years, this is the first new battleground and is intended to keep PvP fans engaged.
The Battle for Osgiliath
Osgiliath should be a name that immediately sets alarm bells ringing for all “The Lord of the Rings” fans. And this fortress is where the latest conflict will revolve! As typical for HdRO, players will again be divided into two factions – one faction fights on the side of the free peoples of Middle-earth, while the other half dives into battle as representatives of the monsters. The new PvP area is, after more than 8 years, the first real expansion for fans of player-versus-(monster)player skirmishes.
The patch is currently on the test server and will bring, alongside the battleground, several other improvements, such as the ability to respec your talents anywhere in the world.
