It is once again time for our MeinMMO format “MMORPG News in two Minutes.” We summarize the most important news about the best genre in the world. Look forward to the soon-to-start beta of WoW: The War Within, the release of a new MMORPG and much more.
The highlights of the week:
- In the comprehensive Producer’s Letter Part 81, there were many new details about Final Fantasy XIV. It was about the recent DDoS attacks, the upcoming expansion Dawntrail, and the release of the updated benchmark tool – which is expected around June 3, 2024.
- As much fun as WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria is, there has been trouble with frog farmers who transformed into demigods. Although the hyperspawns were nerfed, you can now practically upgrade the cloak indefinitely – if you don’t mind the grind.
- The power of the characters during the remix event is demonstrated by this example: A player masters the dungeon Temple of the Jade Serpent solo in less than 50 seconds.
- For the next expansion of Guild Wars 2, a first teaser trailer has been released. More info will come on June 4, 2024.
- The ambitious MMORPG Tarisland will be released worldwide on June 21, 2024, for PC, Android, and iOS.
What else happened? Today is the last day of the great MMORPG theme week from MeinMMO. The highlight is certainly the top list of the best MMORPGs of all time, which was voted by the MeinMMO community.
