A new extraction shooter is launching in early access on Steam. It promises to be not only colorful and action-packed, but it also takes you to a special island with hidden treasures. Your task is to steal these treasures while avoiding being annihilated by monsters or enemies. You can find out all about Hawked here.
What is Hawked about? In Hawked, an adventure guild called GRAIL has discovered a mysterious island. It is called “X-Isle” and is home to mystical treasures from a long-lost civilization.
The GRAIL attempted to retrieve these treasures, but without success. Malicious and reptilian creatures thwarted their plans and prevented any attempts at plundering.
Now you come into play, the Renegades, also known as the Outcasts. You are cold-blooded treasure-hunting mercenaries tasked with retrieving the treasures on X-Isle. Your mission is to loot treasures and escape the island safely. However, be on your guard, as rival mercenaries can also become a threat.

What makes Hawked special? Hawked is a wacky PvPvE extraction shooter where you explore the interdimensional X-Isle. You can run, jump, and use zip lines to navigate the island.
You must solve puzzles, avoid traps, and eliminate hostile players on the island to survive and secure your loot. But beware, the island evolves, so you might encounter different monuments, mountains, or temple complexes on your next raid.
To top it all off, not only hostile players pose a threat, but also the native monsters, the Eleven. These reptilian beings are not fond of you and represent a serious threat.
If you manage to escape the island unscathed, you can upgrade, customize, and unlock further abilities for your Outcast.
All in all, the shooter feels like a mix of many well-known titles. The trailer features graphics reminiscent of Fortnite, humor similar to Borderlands, and creatures akin to those found in the mobile game Temple Run.
On which platforms will Hawked be available? Hawked will initially launch its closed alpha on Steam. This will take place from November 24 to 28. You can still register for it. Just go to the Steam product page (via steam). At a later date, consoles will also be included in the release.
When is the release? The developers behind Hawked are aiming for spring 2023. However, a specific date is not known.
Will Hawked be free-to-play? Hawked will first launch in early access and will be a paid title. Once that is over, the game will be available as a free-to-play title on all platforms.
