The Twitch streamer LetsHugo is known for being a bit “lost” at times. Currently, a clip of the Luxembourger is going viral that shows a failed bottle flip.
What was that action? In the stream from April 18, 2024, “LetsHugo” wanted to hold a “Bottle Flip” challenge with the streamer “Wichtiger”: whoever can flip their bottle more times so that it spins in the air and lands on its base wins.
However, there were problems with the selection of suitable bottles: Wichtiger noted that LetsHugo would have different bottles available in Madeira than he did in Germany. After all, a fair competition must be ensured.

What went wrong? After LetsHugo and Wichtiger briefly discussed the quality of the cola bottles in Madeira, the Luxembourger finally had a brilliant idea: otherwise, he had some glass bottles with him, wondering if the trick would work with those as well?
In the spirit of science, LetsHugo quickly grabbed his glass bottle, sealed it tightly, and skillfully threw it into the air. Indeed, the bottle performed a graceful spin – only to promptly shatter into countless shards upon landing.
While LetsHugo initially surveyed the damage, his friend supported him with sympathetic words: “Dude, are you dumb? What? You can’t be serious! Did you think for a second just now?” Then, however, Wichtiger asked if the streamer was okay.
The stunt is followed by a chaotic cleanup action
What happened next? At this point, the clip ends. However, the situation continued a bit in the stream: You can hear Wichtiger regretting his laughter as it becomes clear that LetsHugo cut himself on the shards.
Together with the chat, he tries to coach the streamer through it somehow: from treating the wound to collecting the shards to the subsequent cleanup. LetsHugo doesn’t have a broom, so he sets his vacuum robot “Jeff” on the table to pick up the smaller pieces.
After about 40 minutes, they can continue. When LetsHugo watches the clip again with Wichtiger, he can already laugh about the whole thing.
Clip goes viral – LetsHugo reacts annoyed
How was the reception? On LetsHugo’s Twitch channel, the failed bottle flip is currently the most viewed clip. The stream excerpt has also spread to other social networks. A video showing Papaplatte’s reaction to the clip received nearly 28,000 likes on TikTok.
On X, formerly Twitter, the video even reached 170,000 views. In a comment, LetsHugo explains that he did not expect the bottle to shatter like that. He also insists that he does not do such actions specifically for viral clips: After all, he checked beforehand to make sure the bottle was sealed, so nothing would get wet (via X).
Twitch colleague Trymacs is likely to view the action with mixed feelings: The streamer apparently sees open glasses in the workplace as a personal affront and can endlessly get worked up about it. A tightly sealed bottle seems to be a clear improvement – as long as he doesn’t somehow spill the contents all over the room:
