Some trainers in Pokémon GO are wondering about the absence of a typical event. Was the event possibly forgotten?

What kind of event is it about? In recent years, there has always been a suitable event related to Easter or spring during the Easter period in Pokémon GO. For example, there were Pokémon with accessories in the form of flower crowns and cherry blossoms or bonuses that affected the hatching of eggs.

This year, while the Rocket takeover is taking place over Easter in Pokémon GO, no event with an Easter connection has been announced yet in Pokémon GO. Parts of the community are disappointed about this, as these events are particularly well-received.

This has always been a nice event for me.

While some trainers report that they are disappointed about the lack of an announcement for an Easter event, there is also hope that a corresponding event will still come. One trainer also has a suspicion about why the event might be missing.

It remains to be seen whether there will be a spontaneous Easter event after all or whether the Rocket takeover will be the only event over Easter.
