TERA was only released on April 3 for the consoles Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but is already facing a small shitstorm. The trigger is a rather pleasant event, through which players have acquired a lot of gold at the maximum level. Not everyone likes this. Players fear rampant inflation.
EnMasse Entertainment recently launched a new event for TERA on the consoles Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Anyone who levels their character to the current maximum level of 65 by May 13 will receive a whole range of rewards.
Although the event is limited to one character per server, some players are now complaining on forums and social networks. Since some of the rewards can be exchanged for a nice price, they now see the economy of the MMORPG at risk.

Is the event destroying the economy?
It is criticized that a large part of the players is now rewarded with items that are worth 40,000 gold or more. Previously, very few people could showcase that much gold.
Rarely were goods sold in the ingame auction house for a bid over 50,000 gold.
As ListenToKPOP criticizes in the TERA subreddit, the situation has drastically changed with the event. Rare items such as mounts, costumes, or enchanting materials have exploded in price. Items that were usually sold for 3,000 to 10,000 gold are now being sold for 20,000 to 30,000 gold.
Worse describes a user in the official TERA forum. On his server, the prices have risen by an average of 500 percent. Additionally, the event is reported to be bugged, giving some players three times the amount of gifts.

While some players criticize the choice of rewards and worry about the economy of the recently released MMO on consoles, others are hardly concerned. They are convinced that the economy will stabilize by itself in a few weeks.
Have you noticed the effects of the leveling event? Are you worried about the economy in TERA or are you staying completely relaxed?
