What we know about the release of Wizards Unite
This was known about the release date: The game was originally supposed to launch in the summer, the developers explained. Now, however, the game is likely being tested in beta in selected countries.
The official release will likely take some more time. However, there is no exact date yet.
What is Wizards Unite? This game is designed by the developers of Pokémon GO. There, you dive into the life of a wizard and help keep the wizarding world secret from non-wizards.
This all takes place, much like in Pokémon GO, in the real world. You have to move in order to complete tasks.
Can we play in Germany yet? You can already download the APK file. However, it is not recommended, as such APK files always come with risks.
Also, while the app runs here in Germany, there is still not much you can do. Magical encounters or other interesting points are not yet available here. So it doesn’t bring anything if you already have the app.
What does the beta in New Zealand offer? In this test version of Wizards Unite, not all features are unlocked yet. Players in New Zealand cannot access everything in the game yet.
When can we expect it in Germany? Niantic has already stated that you can register on their website to not miss any future updates.
It seems that Niantic is planning further beta versions for the game outside of New Zealand.
