Severus Snape is one of the most complex and powerful wizards in the Harry Potter
universe. As a master of Occlumency, Snape was able to hide his thoughts and intentions from Voldemort, making him the perfect double agent for Dumbledore. Snape is also a gifted potions master whose knowledge and skills in this area far surpassed those of other wizards.
What ultimately makes Snape one of the strongest members of the Order of the Phoenix is his extraordinary willingness to sacrifice. He dedicated his entire life to a secret mission: to honor Lily Potter and combat Voldemort, even if it meant sacrificing his own honor and happiness – and that is incredibly strong.
Place 1: Albus Dumbledore
Dumbledore is undoubtedly one of the most powerful wizards of all time. He became world-famous when he defeated the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald in a duel. Voldemort also feared him, not only because of his strengths but because Dumbledore always thought several steps ahead. He thus became the only wizard that Voldemort ever feared.
His knowledge of magic extends far beyond what most wizards could ever learn. He is a brilliant thinker and maintains a focus on the good even in the darkest moments. This earns him a spot on our ranking podium.
