Witches and wizards from Hufflepuff are known for often staying in the background, yet they are among the most genuine and reliable. Their success is based not only on magical abilities but also on their loyalty and tireless commitment to the well-being of others.
Hufflepuff is the house where true friendship plays a central role – the foundation for many great witches and wizards, as we will soon see.

How was the ranking created? The ranking was created based on the personal assessment of MeinMMO author Fabienne Kissel, a long-time Harry Potter fan and proud Hufflepuff. Every year she re-watches the films and plans to dive back into the books soon.

Rank 7: Cedric Diggory
Cedric Diggory is one of the strongest and most talented students Hufflepuff has ever produced. He was also known as the Seeker and Quidditch Captain of Hufflepuff, where he showcased his talent for flying.
Additionally, he was an excellent student in Charms and Transfiguration and was admired by both teachers and classmates.
As the Hogwarts Champion in the Triwizard Tournament, Cedric displayed incredible courage and fairness. Even when Harry Potter was unexpectedly chosen as the second champion, Cedric remained calm and supported Harry, despite many students being against him.
This loyalty and helpfulness make him a true role model.
Tragically, Cedric was murdered by Wormtail (Peter Pettigrew) during the tournament. Had Cedric not died so early, he would undoubtedly have had the potential to become one of the strongest wizards of his generation.
Rank 6: Pomona Sprout
Professor Pomona Sprout is the esteemed Herbology teacher at Hogwarts and heads the House of Hufflepuff. She has a great passion for magical plants and brings a wealth of knowledge to this field.
Pomona is a warm-hearted, down-to-earth woman who cares lovingly for her students and her plants. This makes her a popular professor.
It is believed that the Devil’s Snare that guarded the Philosopher’s Stone was bred by her. Additionally, she helped heal the petrified victims of the basilisk using mandrakes. During the Battle of Hogwarts, she utilized her plants to defend the castle.
Rank 5: Nymphadora Tonks
Nymphadora Tonks, who prefers to be called just Tonks
, is an Auror and a Metamorphmagus, allowing her to change her appearance at will. She is also a member of the Order of the Phoenix and is highly regarded by her friends and colleagues.
Her training as an Auror under Mad-Eye Moody helped her sharpen her skills. She is among the strongest witches in the Harry Potter universe and her clumsy yet heartfelt nature makes her a beloved figure.
Tonks has thrown herself into the most dangerous situations, even when she was scared or felt uncertain. Despite the danger and knowing she had a child at home, she chose to participate in the Battle of Hogwarts and fight for what was important to her.
She died in this final battle, side by side with her husband Remus Lupin.
