Rank 2: Minerva McGonagall
Minerva is one of the best professors, a transformation artist, and a very good fighter. As a master of transfiguration magic and an Animagus, she can transform into a cat and perform complex transfiguration spells that are highly effective in both offense and defense.
In the Battle of Hogwarts, she shows how powerful she really is. She animates the statues of Hogwarts to protect the school and actively fights against Voldemort’s followers. Her duel with Severus Snape, where she drives him out of Hogwarts, is a clear sign of her tremendous strength.
Moreover, she is an impressive leader who does everything for her students and Hogwarts. In the toughest times, she remains calm. With her knowledge, strategic thinking, and skills, she definitely belongs among the most powerful witches.
Rank 1: Hermione Granger
Hermione is the genius of the legendary trio and an incredibly talented witch. At Hogwarts, she impressed everyone with her knowledge and magical talent. Even in her second year, she brews a nearly perfect Polyjuice Potion. She is one of the best and most ambitious students at Hogwarts.
Her strength lies especially in applying this knowledge perfectly in critical moments. With her repertoire of spells, she is prepared for any critical situation. She has repeatedly shown that she can remain calm under extreme pressure and make strategic decisions.
Even though she is not primarily known as a duelist, she has held her own in several dangerous situations and proven to be a strong witch. Without Hermione, Ron and Harry would have often been in trouble. Hermione is a true all-round talent and has earned the first place.
Unfortunately, Ginny Weasley did not make it into the ranking. If the ranking were based on the books, she would definitely be included. Those were the strongest women from the Harry Potter
films.
