The Twitch streamer HandOfBlood and Ludwig Ahgren entered into a special kind of collaboration: they played games produced by each other. However, Ludwig was afraid that HandOfBlood might pull a fast one on him.
Who collaborates with whom? The streamers HandOfBlood and Ludwig Ahgren are both big names in the Twitch sphere. A collaboration is nonetheless unusual, as HandOfBlood is famous in the German area while Ludwig is more known in the US but also generally in the international sphere.
In October 2025, the two came together nevertheless, albeit only indirectly. They agreed that they would each play the other’s produced game in their stream. For Ludwig, this meant: he plays Deadly Days: Roadtrip, published by INSTINCT3. HandOfBlood was supposed to play Aethermancer, published by Ludwig’s company offbrand games.
Playing Deadly Days: Roadtrip turned out to be more challenging for Ludwig than he thought. At first, Ludwig forgot the name of the game and then also forgot the name of HandOfBlood.
In a stream, HandOfBlood reacted to a clip of Ludwig (highlight on YouTube) and found it delightful. HandOfBlood then shared a bit more about the contact between Ludwig and himself.
“That’s Ragebait.”
What kind of scam was Ludwig afraid of? According to HandOfBlood, Ludwig was afraid that the German streamer could trick him. In Ludwig’s alleged fear, HandOfBlood would wait for him to play Deadly Days: Roadtrip but would not return the favor.
HandOfBlood tried to assuage Ludwig’s concern with a direct message on Discord, in which he wrote that he did not want to scam him. Ludwig supposedly only said “Hello” 1 to 2 days later, and the next thing HandOfBlood saw was the stream in which Ludwig plays Deadly Days: Roadtrip.
Once in the game, Ludwig initially wandered almost endlessly in the game’s lobby before he even properly started the game. The confusion shocked HandOfBlood, and the shock grew when Ludwig shortly thereafter – despite having looked at the map – wondered where he was. Finally, HandOfBlood commented on the whole thing: “That’s Ragebait.” (Source: YouTube).
Ludwig has not only entered into a collaboration with HandOfBlood. Papaplatte has also worked with the American. However, he played a prank on him: “And there are people who say Germans have no sense of humor” – Papaplatte pranks the nicest guy on Twitch in front of over 34,000 viewers
