The German YouTuber Maximilian “HandOfBlood” Knabe is one of the most well-known figures in the German scene. Now he wants to cut back on his activity on the video platform YouTube. Instead, he is moving to Twitch and says: There he will be seen almost daily, with significantly more content.
This is what HandOfBlood is saying now:
- In a new video on YouTube, HandOfBlood explains briefly: “No more of that!”
- He now wants to produce fewer videos, as it’s no longer fun for him, stresses him out, and isn’t really worth it anymore.
- Just like his colleague Kalle, with whom HandOfBlood has been working for a long time, the YouTuber is now moving to Twitch. He will be seen there starting January 17: 4 days a week, 8 hours a day, and more often if he feels like it.

This is what happens with the videos: HandOfBlood’s channels will not necessarily decrease but will be fueled differently. The YouTuber explains that on the second channel HandOfUncut
there will now be excerpts from the stream.
The videos there are supposed to be more current. HandOfBlood also promises a higher quality because there is simply more selection of content from which the videos can be cut.
The main channel “HandOfBlood” will still be updated once a month with formats like “3 shabby games” or “Männo”. Other than that, there should only be videos that are thematically related to the stream – for example, commented gameplay of a run in Dark Souls.
The largely unknown third channel “HandOfTrash” is also expected to be regularly supplied with daily reactions. The YouTuber may explain more about this later in a stream.
HandOfBlood, or Hänno
, was especially known for his elaborate productions:

HandOfBlood is primarily known for exceptionally elaborate productions. He often takes on roles and costumes that are specially made for such videos. Highlights include, for example, a self-built tank in which he plays World of Tanks.
The now probably most famous role of the YouTuber is “President Knabe”, in which HandOfBlood even shows considerable acting talent. As president, he primarily drives his LoL team Eintracht Spandau forward.
HandOfBlood explains in the video that he now lacks the passion for such videos – an essential part of creative work. He would rather just play games, deliver live jokes that feel more natural, and “get worn out”.
The videos have already been at a point for a while where there was hardly any room for change and self-realization. Only optimization has been possible.
Additionally, it’s important to continue pushing Eintracht Spandau forward. The team has been a focal point for HandOfBlood for some time now and is more than just a LoL team with a unique approach. Just shortly before the Twitch announcement, the team announced that they want to now pursue real sports, with the support of a German soccer star.
