In the new YouTube format “Hänno on the move,” influencer Maximilian ‘HandOfBlood’ Knabe drives German TV personalities around in his truck. After musician Helge Schneider, comedian Alexander Bojcan and his fictional character Kurt Krömer are up next.
What kind of format is this? “Hänno on the move” is a “minimal” different kind of Let’s Plays than what most people will know from gaming YouTube.
The game is “Euro Truck Simulator, but with the peculiarity that the influencer HandOfBlood sometimes more, sometimes less voluntarily takes passengers along. In the pilot episode, the well-known German singer and comedian Helge Schneider made his appearance.
After the episode garnered over 1.6 million views and 130,000 likes, it has been a great success, and the format is now moving into the first season of the show.
Now, Kurt Krömer is joining as a guest in the passenger seat and is starting the first season of the format together with HandOfBlood.
The influencer at the wheel isn’t paying much attention to road signs, after all the navigation is broken. Sometimes he also gets lost, ending up in Bremen instead of Berlin, being shot at by gangsters, or letting his passenger take the wheel. However, Krömer forbids any distractions from annoying rustling and is constantly amazed that not everyone recognizes him immediately, as he is a “star on television.”
Television is practically like the Titanic, explains Krömer, the engine room is already full of water below, but champagne is still being served above.
And when the truck catches fire in between, the two of them must pitch in together, even if it means briefly having to take off the tights.

Here’s the reaction: In the comments under the YouTube videos, viewers are celebrating the new format. Besides the humor and great crossover with Helge Schneider and Kurt Krömer, fans especially praise the high production quality.
The videos are perfectly edited into the footage of the game Euro Truck Simulator, making it look like HandOfBlood and his guests are really driving on a highway. Additionally, the camera angles are often changed to show the ride, the stops, and also the crashes from different perspectives.
Others also note that the format on YouTube is completely free and of higher quality than much of what television has to offer.

What’s next: After the success of the pilot episode with Helge Schneider, the first season of the show is now being produced. Initially, there will be 3 episodes. The names of the other passengers joining Hänno on tour are still unknown.
