The new MMO New World is currently plagued by long queues. But other MMOs have also experienced long queues, and still do. We at MeinMMO want to know if you cheat to avoid these queues.
What is the problem? New World has just been released and is struggling with very long queues. In the meantime, over 35 new servers have been opened just for German players.
No matter if it’s New World, WoW Classic, or the recent influx on Final Fantasy XIV, almost every MMO has had long queues at some point. Anyone who has been in such a queue knows they might have to wait hours to get onto the server.
But what happens when you finally get online and then have to be AFK for a longer period? Maybe because it’s time for dinner, you need to go to the gym, or there’s an important appointment coming up.
Do you cheat then – for example, with auto-run or by blocking a key – to avoid the AFK kick? Or do you leave the game nicely and get back in line? We would like to know.
Do you cheat in queues?
This is how you can vote: In our survey tool, you can cast your vote and tell us whether you are more fair to other players or would rather cheat.
You can vote exactly once and the vote cannot be undone. The survey is anonymous, so you can answer honestly without worry.
If you cheat and avoid the AFK timer, how exactly do you do it? What tricks do you have up your sleeve? Write it in the comments if you’d like.
The fact that New World is currently struggling with queues is also because Amazon completely underestimated the German market. Many new servers have been opened here, and the queues are particularly long:
