Non-skippable intros still occur in games today. They are annoying and often take a long time. Halo Infinite also has such a video. However, players have now found a way to bypass the intro.

So it is with Halo Infinite and its intro scene, which is why players have sought a way to get rid of this scene. In this case, Twitter user Jason Lamb, who is also a developer, made a funny discovery.

How can you get rid of the intro video? The intro video is quite easy to find, but you can not only remove it entirely. You can also replace it with another video. Twitter user Jason Lamb made and shared this discovery.
He replaced the actual intro with another, much shorter video, in this case from Shrek:
How exactly does this work? The entire intro, including the loading screen, is just a video that plays every time. It can be found in the files and can be replaced by any other clip. (via Steam)
- For this, you need to go to Steam in the corresponding folder of your Steam library: …/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Halo Infinite/videos
- There, you need to replace the MP4 file with another one.
- This is called “Startup_Sequence_Loading.mp4”
You can simply record a 1-second video and put it in there, for example. Or, like Jason Lamb, a silly video of your choice.
Does this also work if I downloaded Halo Infinite from the Xbox Store? Unfortunately, it does not. Players cannot directly access the folder where Halo Infinite is stored (WindowsApps) and cannot make changes.
Fans are having a lot of fun with this and are already thinking about which videos they want to use to replace the intro.
