This year there are so many events that it can be quite easy to lose track and not be able to fully enjoy all the festivities. From Shadow Night to Witch Festival
Especially cool: Many games, such as WildStar, World of Warcraft, or The Elder Scrolls Online, did not simply adopt the old Halloween from our world but have anchored their own version of the festival in the lore of the game. However, all games have one thing in common: there are spooky decorations and costumes for our heroes, champions, and in one special case even for tanks!
WildStar: Survival Horror and Trick-or-Treat in Housing
WildStar impresses starting from October 18 with an extensive Halloween event called “Night of Shadows”, where we can get special costumes and mounts. The highlight of the event is the spooky village of Stummbühl, which starts as survival horror and ends with a tough final battle in a creepy lab. Especially cool: we can use the extremely detailed housing for spooky decorations and even receive a daily quest in which we search for candy at our fellow players’ houses. This way, WildStar ensures that our beautifully decorated spaces are also noticed!
The Elder Scrolls Online: The Spooky Witch Festival
On October 13, the hearty Witch Festival begins in The Elder Scrolls Online, which non-mages can also participate in. Nevertheless, dark summoners are at the forefront and in special events we can collect unique rewards. In the item shop, there is also an item that puts us in contact with the mysterious “Witch Mother” who then gives us a special quest. In the end, we receive a cauldron that transforms us into a disgusting monster during the event. Ideal for scaring poor elves or Khajiit!
