Today, the first skins for Halloween have appeared in the Fortnite shop: It’s the Scarecrow duo. Data miners claim to have found 6 new outfits. Is the Skull Trooper returning as well?
What skins are available in the shop today? Today, the two scarecrows are available in the Fortnite shop along with the corresponding glider and pickaxe. Data miners already found these in the last patch. The skins are named:
- Heumann – for 1,500 V-Bucks
- Strohagentin – for 1,500 V-Bucks
- The glider “Phantom of the Field” for 1,200 V-Bucks
- and the harvesting tool “Field Reaper” for 800 V-Bucks
These are the first Halloween skins in Fortnite 2018. The “Finsterbomberin” looked spooky as well, but belongs more to the event section on the Space Cube and the flying island.
At the moment, a lot is happening for Halloween in Fortnite, we have already reported about giant spiders and ghosts. The Fortnite map is changing to adapt to the spooky season in October.
Is there more to come?
Data miners find clues: Data miners discovered clues in recent days that more “Halloween” skins are coming to Fortnite. However, there are no images yet, only the names of 6 skins, as the new findings were read differently from the data than usual.
The new skins are called:
- Scourge (female) – could be a zombie lady
- Plague (male) – maybe a zombie man
- Hollowhead (female) – it is suspected to be a pumpkin head like the tomato head
- Squashman (male) – also a pumpkin head
- Onesie (male) – sounds like a more humorous onesie costume
- Skull Ranger (female) – skull in female?
The following emotes are also supposed to come:
- Headbanger
- Sprinkler
- Behold!
- Electro Swing
- Get Psyched
Are old skins returning? Furthermore, it is expected that the Halloween skins from 2017 could also return to the Fortnite shop. The coveted Skull Trooper would be included.
Data miners have also found this “Item Shop” screen for the future. It shows the Skull Trooper and a “Backbling.”

When will we learn more? Whether and when these new skins and emotes will come is still unknown at this moment. Perhaps more information and images are already hidden in the next patch.
