First released on November 19, 1998, Half-Life is undoubtedly one of the classic shooters. The game’s plot revolves around scientist Gordon Freeman, who works for Black Mesa. A failed experiment opens a portal to another dimension, and Freeman must defend himself against hostile Xen creatures.
Half-Life is considered one of the best shooters of all time, and its fans recently proved that they are still loyal to the old game. On social media, #RememberFreeman made the rounds, and fans encouraged playing the classic on a set date on Steam.
