Hades 2 by Supergiant Games is one of the most anticipated games on Steam. It has been surprisingly released in Early Access and has already attracted thousands of players. The numbers are likely to continue to rise.
What kind of game is this? Hades 2 is, surprise, the sequel to Hades 1. In part 2, you fight as Melinoe, the immortal princess of the underworld, through the titular underworld, defeating monsters and upgrading your heroine. Hades 2 was among the most anticipated games on Steam alongside Manor Lords and Hollow Knight: Silksong to be among the most desired games on Steam.

Hades 2 has launched, costs around 30 Euros, and is available in Early Access
How much does Hades 2 cost? The game launches in Early Access and costs 28.99 Euros initially. There is no launch discount. Therefore, you do not need to hurry to buy it if you were hoping for a launch discount.
However, Supergiant Games has already revealed that they might raise the “selling price at a later time” when there are more contents available.
Currently (as of May 6, 2024, 8:00 PM), around 17,000 players are playing Hades 2 on Steam. There are currently fewer than 100 reviews. If you value the opinion of other players, you should also wait a bit longer.
If you haven’t played the predecessor: Hades 1 is available on sale until May 13, 2024, for around 9 Euros. If the nearly 30 Euros are deterring you, you could also start much cheaper with the predecessor.
What is included in Early Access? The developers state that Hades 2 in Early Access already offers more content than the predecessor. For around 30 Euros, you are sure to get a lot. The developers write themselves on Steam:
Currently, the Early Access of Hades II already features more regions, enemies, and English-voiced characters than the first Hades. However, the game is still under development – this means that some key regions, characters, enemies, story events, and systems are not yet included.
