A new hack/cheat is circulating in Call of Duty: Warzone. This allows some players to suddenly reach max level and have access to all unlockable weapon skins. Even major Twitch streamers are affected.
Call of Duty: Warzone is currently experiencing a surge. However, not in player or revenue numbers, but unfortunately among its hackers and cheaters. A new cheat from the cheaters is now causing players to suddenly reach max level and complete all challenges for the weapon skins.
It’s gotten to the point where major Twitch streamers are being hacked during their broadcasts. Notable examples include “Nickmercs” and “DiazBiffle”. Nickmercs then calls on all Warzone cheaters to hack every player in order to spread this “gift”, and the U.S. site Dexerto asks: “Is this the best hack of all time?” However, the account upgrade could have pitfalls.
CoD Warzone completed in seconds – hack makes it possible
What does that look like? There isn’t much to see. In fact, the indicators reporting the unlocks just suddenly start going crazy:
In the short clip from DiazBiffle, you can see how the streamer suddenly leaves all season ranks behind him. To do this, you have to climb 1,200 levels, and it comes with some rewards, such as season challenges and prestige keys.
But that wasn’t all: All unlockable weapon skins are also available. Nickmercs showcased his new “achievements” in his stream:
The hack just happened to @NICKMERCS too and the guys are losing it ?

Isn’t that great? Those who don’t see the weapon skin challenges as their favorite task in Call of Duty might welcome the account upgrade with friends. The tasks can take hundreds of hours of grinding.
However, the account may also look suspicious with the sudden level jump.
Such level hacks have existed before in Call of Duty, even on consoles. Two weeks after release, some players were already roaming around with the highest prestige levels, boasting their hard-to-reach emblems.
It is quite possible that the Warzone security team recognizes and bans the hacked accounts as cheaters. Because at first glance, it might look as if the accounts themselves have cheated, even if the affected players were actually “coerced into cheating”.
However, the developers are likely already aware of the problem, and a fix for this hack is said to be in the works. A data miner and leaker from the CoD community writes on Twitter that the hack’s code has been released and the trick no longer works. You can find everything about it here.
What’s behind this? How the hack works or what the point of it is can currently only be speculated. It may be about advertising or attention. Additionally, it is suspected that the cheater must be in the same lobby to start the hack. However, many details cannot currently be found about it.
Warzone is struggling to get the cheater problem under control. On the contrary – it currently seems that it is getting worse. The new account hack is just the tip of the iceberg. Even consoles are said to no longer be safe from wall hacks and aim bots.
The long-term success of Warzone will also depend on how the developers tackle the cheating plague in the battle royale. Many players believe that this cannot go on.
