In the cracker scene, Empress is one of the most well-known names. The latest victim of the hacker is now the controversial hit Hogwarts Legacy. Empress has managed to bypass the hacker protection Denuvo. In a file related to the hack, she harshly criticizes men and transgender people.
Who is the hacker? Allegedly, Empress is a young woman who is exceptionally skilled with codes and IT. She is regarded in the scene as the only person who can crack Denuvo. The program is one of the most secure copy protection systems, but Denuvo is extremely unpopular among gamers.
The system encrypts files in a way that makes it nearly impossible to access them. However, this often comes at the cost of performance, which is why Denuvo has gained a bad reputation among gamers.
What has Empress done? One of the games protected by Denuvo is the Hogwarts Legacy, which was released on February 10 and quickly became a massive hit on Steam. Empress has cracked this protection.
As users report in a thread on reddit, the hack works and gives access to the entire game – even to content that is usually exclusive to the PS5. However, Empress includes a text with her crack that is hard to digest.

Questionable messages in the NFO file
Together with the crack of Hogwarts Legacy, Empress provided a so-called NFO file. In these files, hackers often send messages to users or simply provide information on usage.
In Empress’s case, however, she has spread hate messages against men and transgender people. She fully supports J.K. Rowling and sees the current discussion as a threat to personal freedom.
However, Empress goes further. She hurls insults and accusations at specific groups of people and generally opposes the idea of transgenderism. We prefer not to relay the exact text here.
