Development is progressing in the MMO survival game H1Z1. In June, players can expect RPG elements, AK-47s, and enhanced group features.
The good thing about an early access game is that you really get patches that change more than just a few minor things. The development pace is high; you can watch H1Z1 grow month by month.
The patch date has been set for Tuesday, allowing developers to react if something goes wrong. And now, at the beginning of June, the plans for the next 4 patch days are confirmed. Here’s what players can expect:
- Tomorrow, on June 9th, changes will be made to the roofs of the foundations, and the content of the “Marauder Crate” will change, as well as items in the game will show wear and tear and gradually break down.
- On June 16th, the Kalashnikov, the AK-47, will be newly introduced to the game. Additionally, players should be able to form groups in the lobby and join a server together. There will be watchtowers and walkie-talkies, as well as a leaderboard for the Battle Royale, the most popular mode in H1Z1 so far. Later, the leaderboard is expected to become even more important. “Seasons” are planned to be introduced, emphasizing this competitive aspect more strongly.
- On June 23rd, a major change for the map will be released. 4 military bases are planned to be added. Additionally, the “Team” battle royales will start. Pre-made teams of 2-5 survivors can participate.
- And on June 30th, a “role-playing element” will be introduced. Players will then be able to specify during character creation what job their survivor had before the whole Z situation started. Depending on the job they choose retrospectively, they will receive specific bonuses.
