The zombie MMO H1Z1 has devised new game modes for its Battle Royale variant.
“King of the Kill” is the Battle Royale spin-off of H1Z1 that is set to release this summer for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. For May, there is now a special feature planned.
Every weekend, they offer Skirmish. This turns the Battle Royale into a slightly different variant. This weekend, only “small arms” were allowed, specifically pistols, crossbows, and bows. During the weekend, there were also special skins from the Air Drops.
The Skirmishes are set to be repeated throughout May, and then they plan to establish a regular Skirmish with different rulesets.
Meanwhile, the announcement of a change is causing an uproar. The start of the matches is supposed to be simultaneous for everyone in a few weeks. Players fear longer waiting times and advantages for players who act as a team. So far, players start, depending on their loading times, earlier than others in a match.
