The PvP variant “King of the Kill” of the zombie MMO H1Z1 will no longer offer payments with Daybreak Cash in the future.
However, this will not abolish optional in-game purchases, but merely change the currency. Instead of paying with Daybreak Cash, players will now pay with Crowns. Those who still have Daybreak Cash can convert it 1:1 into Crowns. However, this conversion will only be possible until December 31 of this year. It is not possible to convert Crowns back into Daybreak Cash.
From Daybreak Cash to Crowns
However, Daybreak Cash is still needed if you are also playing the sandbox MMO H1Z1: Just Survive (or one of the developer’s other games), as the old currency is still in use there. The new Crowns can also be used in H1Z1: King of the Kill to open crates, for which special keys were previously required. With Crowns, players can also purchase locked crates. Anyone who still had keys will receive standard crates, which are unlocked.
Duplicate skins and other items can now also be converted into scrap in the inventory. The scrap can then be exchanged at the junkyard for new items. Airdrop tickets will completely disappear from the game, and anyone who had some in their inventory will receive 100 scrap for each one.
The MMO H1Z1: King of the Kill is currently in early access and will remain there for a while.
